The Hasselblad Phocus 4.x manual is a community-written reference for the version of Phocus that ships with current Hasselblad cameras. Hasselblad's official manual stopped at Phocus 3.8 in 2018. Documentation covering 4.x exists outside the manufacturer, which matters because the 4.1 series introduced HNNR noise reduction, the HDR pipeline, the four-tab tethered-capture interface, and (in 4.1.2) the color-preview regression that ships unannounced. This guide describes a 238-page, 85-topic reference organized across eight sections: file import and RAW handling (3FR versus FFF), HNCS color science, HNNR noise reduction, core adjustments, layers and local edits, output and export, tethered capture, and an X2D II and CFV reference appendix. Every topic was tested against Phocus 4.1.2 on Apple Silicon, with cross-references to the official Hasselblad documentation where it exists and explicit notes when it does not. Known Phocus bugs are tracked separately and linked into the relevant procedures.
