This policy covers the Appaloosa app for macOS, published by Konrad Michels.
What Appaloosa collects
Nothing. Appaloosa has no network access, no analytics, no crash reporting, and no accounts. It cannot send data anywhere. Your photographs and their metadata are read on your Mac and never leave it.
What Appaloosa stores
The app keeps a local list of recently opened folders on your Mac so you can reopen them quickly. That list stays on your machine and can be cleared by removing entries from the welcome screen.
Purchases
The one-time repair unlock is processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. Apple's handling of purchase data is described in Apple's privacy policy. Appaloosa receives only a confirmation that the purchase exists.
Support email
If you email konrad@tonalphoto.com for support, the message is used to answer you. If you send a sample file for diagnosis, it is read, never modified, and deleted after the problem is resolved.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published at this address with the date below updated.
